I want tribe to know that if they had a way for me to contribute a couple of dollars a month (for what i get for free) I would do that to keep it alive... and i bet a whole lot of other people/(Poor Artists like me and others) would too... but $20 a month is TOO Much for me to afford... if that was the cost to use tribe I would Fly away...
I don't even need a star.
any one else feel this way?

I totally agree and would do the same. I would send something annually but something every month is a bit much. In NYC jeff stark from the nonsense list asks everyone at the end of the year for a $5 donation to help with the servers for the site. Tribe should pose a similar request of $20 bucks donation and i think a lot of folks would spend that much to help with maintaining the sites. and perhaps more variety of ads that are relevant to arts and books and stuff.

You can most certainly send any amount you feel you can afford via PayPal to tribepay@tribe.net

We will prorate Premium status at the rate of $5/month. We are also considering a system to allow Premium members to turn on and off ads, but probably won't have that available until the next release.

well it seems that those who pay the $20 as Premium members... should get a Tshirt and bumper sticker (good addvertizing) or something at the end of the year...

and let the rest of us pay a Little every month... or year as a Love offering...
if that is what it would take to KEEP THE SERVERS UP.

I think it would bring in alot of $
