I would like each profile to contain more information about each client, accessible only to law enforcement agencies.

Re: More information
Mon, April 6, 2009 - 2:09 PMLaw enforcement should have to get their information the old fashioned way.
Requiring online social networks to maintain a police database is pure tyranny.
I suppose it's no worse than using the police power of the state to Force all businesses of a specific class take your money and then insisting that once they do, they can't give it back, and you get to be in charge of those businesses.
Nothing like a spoonful of despotism to make the medicine go down -

Re: More information
Mon, April 6, 2009 - 6:05 PMI agree Man, however I think law enforcement can ge tcooperation from Tribe in events which require information.
In the Depression tribe when it was thought that a person was definitely killing themself that night .. people were able to get Tribe and others involved to get that person to a hospital. This was several years ago.. information can be accessed.
In issues of harrassment, physical attacks again Tribe will cooperate with officials. The Ip addresses you use as well as nuch personal data given over time and I suspect hwo it can connect to facebook and other sites will likely identify many people. Certainly someone with computer savy can circumvent that.. but how can Tribe tell?

One man's exigency is another man's despotic invasion of privacy.
Trying to parse it put so you think you have everything covered is nothing but the slippery slope to tyranny.

The Man says, "Steven is angry because he tried to leak information on his commie buddies"
How do you know a pig is lying? He's moving his mouth. Or in this case typing. -

Re: Scalia owned by students - Flips out
Sun, May 10, 2009 - 1:33 PMCome to think of it what we really need is a database of out of control policemen so that a neighborhood or town can be forewarned and on the lookout for dangerous law enforcement officers. It would be sort of like the sexual predator database. I know a lot of good cops, and they have very difficult jobs, but there are some who ought to be known about and kepts tabs on. They're flat out loonies and psychopaths.
