I'd be down with doniatiing my time. I use tribe heavily, and have been putting a tribe logo on ALL out print ads (Fliers, The Onion, Bay Guardian). The sad part is... I havn't even gotten a "Thank You" from tribe for doing this. I did get TOU problems up the wazoo though. The honest truth is I think somebody who put money into this is wanting it to fall flat on it's face for a BIG FAT tax write off. But i digress, I'd happily come spin for a tribe benefit. I resident at Bondage a go go which is in it's 13th year of continuous operation in teh SOMA area. We've seen it all and we are still going strong. --S

This is how the burning man people raise money for thier camps. I would definitely pay a cover charge to drink and party with other tribe people. I already do it without the cover charge anyway. I like to think of tribe as a community and not a "service". I dont want to be marketed to. However, I would not mind giving back to the community i belong to.

EXACTLY! There are sooooo many DJs out there that use Tribe as a marketing tool, and it works! I'll be more than happy to organize this for Tribe. These ads have to go!!!!

i'm not in favor of the ads by any means but is a party really a sustainable good long-termoption? it is good that ideas are being generated though. i am in favor of asking members to pay. for as many times as i've heard tribe officials say "users arent into that option" i have never been asked. i have been here awhile despite my profile saying otherwise (having left and come back twice). send a message to users asking the question. ask everyone, THEN rule out paid subscriptions as an option. ya know?

okay... so, i know it's a free service.
