part 1

tribe is up, tribe is down
cyclical this tribe.net thingy
occurring again and again
like some personality trait
some way of disposition
identifying tribe as tribe

so goes tribe, on and on
up, down, all over again
enduring ever so uniquely
within the history of time
tribe as only tribe can be
our place to hang and jam

part 2

tribe.net still up, down, whatever
many like me still hanging around
seemingly we’re a natural thingy
inherent to tribe’s basic evolution
sharing in some learning process
integral to tribe’s struggle to go on
unique and yet mutual characters
kind of giving tribe a distinct flavor
identifiable within a cluttered web
as a thing doing the tribe.net thingy
